Malvern College Pre-School Hong Kong Application for Admission
Parental Agreement

• I am supportive of Malvern College Pre-Schools (MCPS)’s ethos and philosophy.
• I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of Babylon Education Limited/MCPS and the jurisdiction of the laws of Hong Kong.
• I understand that my child may not enroll in MCPS unless one parent or legal guardian is in full-time residence in Hong Kong. I agree that my child will be living with at least one parent or legal guardian while enrolled at MCPS.
• I authorize the staff of Babylon Education Limited/MCPS to contact my child’s current/ former kindergarten(s) to find out additional, relevant information about my child.
• In case of individual educational needs (see Part I), I hereby authorize the staff at Babylon Education Limited/MCPS to contact the professionals in connection with my child’s invention.
• I agree to be bound by Babylon Education Limited/MCPS’s selection process, Admissions, and Withdrawal Policy. I understand that Babylon Education Limited/MCPS has the sole, exclusive, and final right to administer selective enrolment of pupils in the best interests of the school. I understand that all admission results are final and Babylon Education Limited/MCPS is not under obligation to disclose information or documentation relating to the admissions review process.
• I certify that the information given on this form is true, full and complete. I understand that if I fail to provide or disclose accurate details of important information about my child, MCPS reserves the right to restrict entry into or withdraw a place in the School or terminate application.
• I understand that only completed applications, including successful payment of application fee, and all required documents, will be considered for the processing of my child’s application.
• I understand that the administrative charge is non-transferable, non-deferrable and non-refundable.
• I give my consent for Babylon Education Limited/MCPS to use my personal data for the purpose of processing my child’s application for admission. Should my child be admitted, personal data will be used to provide news and information relating to my child’s education and the operations of the school, and these may include notification about fundraising activities either for the school or for third-party community service organizations. I also understand that upon occasion the school will cooperate with third-party service providers and contractors to organize some of the academic, pastoral and administrative functions for pupils, and if my child is enrolled in such an activity, relevant personal data may be shared with the service provider. I agree that MCPS may use photographs or other media that include my child, his/her work, or a parent or other persons taking part in a school event or activity in MCPS or MCPS affiliate’s website, social media, marketing materials, corporate communications or publications to provide information to me about my child’s education or to me or other parties about the operations of the school. I also understand that in the event that a pupil already has a sibling at the School, the records of such sibling will be updated according to the data provided on the new pupil’s enrolment form where relevant.
• I understand that the withdrawal of a pupil will be valid upon receipt by the Admissions Office of a completed and signed ‘Withdrawal Notice Form’ which is available from the Admissions Office. At least two full calendar months in advance of the desired withdrawal date must be given, which must align with the month-end of the last day of any given term (i.e. Christmas, Easter or Summer break). In the absence of such notice, the monthly tuition fees shall continue to remain payable until expiry of the school term during which a child may leave. If written notice of withdrawal is submitted to the school during a Public Holiday, it will be deemed to have been received by the school on the first day of school following the Public Holiday. Similarly, the month of July cannot be used as part of any notice period.
